MsgArc is a message archiver for Nokia 7650, 3650 or generally for Series60. Program consists of two parts:

1. Series60 part,
2. PC part.

1. Series60 part

This part creates a list of all messages and transfers it to the PC.

The main features:

• saving messages for the future processing,
• the program saves the message location and the message tree,
• XML and binary data output format.

  binary format can be used for the next processing with ohter program, eg. MsgArc for PC.

  XML format can be used for viewing in an XML browser, eg. Internet Explorer.

2. PC part

This part can be used for viewing binary data from the archive.

The main features:

• shows the message tree and messages from the device,
• supports: emails (text only), MMS (text only), SMS, Picture SMS, Operator logos, VCard, VCalendar
• searching in the messages.

• ringtones are not supported,
• (to-do) only one device can be connected to one PC program,
• program requires registration, registration is FREE; only 3 items can be imported from the device without registration,
• (to-do) user can not create or remove folders.
